This Saturday whilst :Kinema: are entertaining the bowlers in Bloomsbury, Shock Defeat! will be taking to the stage in Camden at Be alongside Thomas White and Housewives. Whilst any Shock Defeat! gig normally mean a bonus payday for London’s instrument repairmen you too can profit as we’re offering you the chance to get on the band’s concessions guestlist. Isn’t that nice.
Drop us a line here before midday on Saturday and we’ll put you on the £6 list.

Hopefully having rebuilt their shattered instruments after last Saturday’s bruising show, Shock Defeat! are back in action tonight at the Best Laid Plans night at The Queen of Hoxton. Playing alongside them will be Cats In Paris, Hook and the Twin, The Welcome Committee and as many DJs as you can shake a stick at, all in all it looks like a fun night. Go cheer on our boys and grab a 7″ off them.
If you’re quick you can still buy cheap advance tickets from here. Go what are you waiting for!

Unfortunately due to a broken drummer, Chik Budo have just had to pull out of this Saturday’s party at The Big Chill House. Luckily one of the advantages of running a label is treating your artists like indentured servants and so to fill the Budo’s slot we’ve summoned :Kinema: up from Brighton.
It’s their last gig before their debut release hits the stores (and no doubt the upper echelons of the charts) so it’ll probably be all bizarre M&M demands, champagne and page 3 stunnas after this, catch them now before they become bloated betrayals of their youthful ideals.
The rest of the lineup remains thankfully intact with Shock Defeat! kicking out the jams on stage and Tronik Youth, Rory Phillips, Andy Blake, NXHA and Flammette joining us on the Decks, it’s free before 10 and £5 after. See you there and get well soon Aki!

On March the 20th we will be returning to the Big Chill House in King’s Cross for another Slutty Fringe party, and we have a huge line-up for you that includes Hot Pocket’s own Shock Defeat!
They’ll be joined onstage by the very wonderful Chik Budo, and there will be DJ sets from the likes of Andy Blake, Tronik Youth, Rory Phillips, Flammette and lots more.
It all kicks off around 8 and goes on till 3, with the bands on around 10. Entry is free before 10 and just £5 after. Sorted!

After what seems like a million delays the Shock Defeat! Olympic Village EP is finally here in all its blue vinyl glory.
